  • The competition is divided into two categories: Piano and Instrumental

​Eligibility

  • The competition is open to participants of all nationalities and ages.
  • The Piano Category is divided into the Junior Group (under 18 years old, born after 2004/7/26) and the Adult Group (over 18 years old, born before 2004/7/25).
  • The Instrumental Category can be applied as an individual or a group of 2 to 5 people. ─ A participant can only apply for the Piano Category once (Junior Group or Adult Group according to age). However, they can apply for the Instrumental Category both as an individual and as a group.
    • A participant can at most apply 3 times (once for the Piano Category, once for the Instrumental Category as an individual, and once for the Instrumental Category in a group).
    • Participants who apply for the Instrumental Category both as an individual and as a group have to choose different pieces to play.
  • Winners of the previous year will not be eligible for the same category this year, but can still participate in other categories.

  • Application ─ From 2022/7/4 Mon. 12:00 noon to 2022/7/25 Mon. 12:00 noon (UTC+8).
  • Finalists Announcement ─ 2022/8/8 Mon. 12:00 noon
  • Final Round ─ 2022/9/3 Sat.

  • Backstage Café ─ NTU Sports Center, Rm. 206 & 214, 2F., No. 1, Sec. 4, Roosevelt Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan (R.O.C.)

Competition Process

  • The competition consists of the Preliminary Round and the Final Round

Preliminary Round

  • The jury will grade the video clips submitted by the participants.
  • For each group, 10 participants with the highest scores (which also need to be above 75) can enter the Final Round.
  • According to situations, the jury has the final rights to adjust the number of participants that enter the Final Round.

Final Round

  • Participants who enter the Final Round should attend the final competition held in Taipei.
  • Participants who apply for the Instrumental Category should not change their group members in the Final Round.
  • Participants who apply for the Instrumental Category should not change the instrument they play in the Final Round.
